Managed Services Provider, Claranet, has appointed Matthew Parker as UK Sales Director, with the objective of driving sales from existing and new customers through its direct and indirect channels.
Parker has over 20 years of sales experience within the IT and telecommunications industries and is coming from Vanco, where he held the position of Head of UK Account Management. Before that he was Regional Sales Director at Energis UK.
Commenting on his new role at Claranet, Parker said:
It is a great time to join and be part of Claranet as it continues to grow as an organisation and develop its reputation as a Managed Services Provider (MSP). As a standalone business it is thriving and my remit will be to help build on this success.

Claranet's business proposition is unique in that its offering consists of managed data networks and managed hosting and as a result can provide a single service-level agreement which covers both. There aren't many companies that can put forward this combination. The company is making great progress in some important vertical markets and I will be looking to capitalise on these successes
