Claranet has recently been successful in attaining a new accreditation awarded by the Civil Aviation Authority and CREST. The ASSURE scheme introduces a cybersecurity audit model for organisations providing services within the Aerospace industry.
ASSURE is a cybersecurity audit scheme created by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in partnership with CREST, the not-for-profit accreditation and certification body for the technical security industry. The scheme enables aviation organisations to procure accredited cybersecurity audit capabilities to perform an evidence-based validation of their self-assessments and supports the CAA's cybersecurity oversight strategy.
Commenting on the recognition Ben Thornhill, Consultancy Practice Lead, Claranet said:
We are delighted to be part of this important initiative to protect a key sector of the UKs Critical National Infrastructure. Claranet has a long and successful track record in delivering services to the aviation sector and its supply chain and this recognition will further strengthen our position within this strategically important market.
