Claranet launches independent AI Risk Assessment Services
An independent, framework-aligned review that shows organisations where their AI risk sits, and how to reduce it.
London, 22 July 2026. Claranet has launched its AI Risk Assessment Services, an independent advisory review that helps organisations identify, assess, and reduce the risks tied to how they use, build, and deploy AI. The service assesses AI across governance, technical architecture, data and privacy, legal and regulatory alignment, and ethical use, measured against recognised standards including ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, and GDPR.
The launch responds to a clear shift in the market. Claranet's customers are increasingly being asked to provide assurance over their business-critical AI systems, from boards, regulators, auditors, and their own customers. Yet the speed of adoption often outpaces the controls around it. Technology companies make it easy to deploy AI tools that replicate critical business processes, but they don't always make it as simple to remove those tools, identify the risks they introduce, and manage them over time.
Claranet's assessment closes that gap. It gives organisations a structured, evidence-based view of their exposure, then a set of recommendations prioritised by risk severity, business impact, and regulatory weight, so teams know what to tackle first. The engagement runs as a time-bound consultancy: scoping, assessment, risk identification, a written report with an executive summary and detailed findings, and a review session that walks the organisation through the results. It's advisory, not audit, and folds into the risk management frameworks organisations already run.
