Claranet joins UK Finance as an associate member
Membership recognises more than 20 years of work securing and managing highly regulated financial services environments

Claranet has joined UK Finance as an associate member, recognising more than 20 years of work securing and managing highly regulated financial services environments.
We chose UK Finance because it is the right membership body for a technology partner with our background. Financial services is one of the most heavily regulated environments in which any organisation operates, and we have spent more than 20 years designing, running, and securing those environments for banks, insurers, payments providers, and asset managers. Membership puts us alongside the institutions we already work with, in the rooms where operational resilience, cyber risk, and digital modernisation are being worked through.
Our contribution will be practical rather than promotional. We will attend UK Finance events, bringing the view from inside regulated production environments to discussions on resilience, security, and modernisation. We will also contribute written insight, including blog articles for the UK Finance membership, drawing on the work our specialists do with financial services customers every day.
For a sector under sustained pressure from operational resilience requirements, supply chain scrutiny, and an active threat landscape, we would argue that the most useful thing a technology partner can offer is candour about what works. That is what we intend to bring.
