Claranet masters recertification according to ISO 27001 in the new version 2022

The technology service provider Claranet has once again passed recertification in accordance with the international standard for information security. The assessment framework was based on the new 2022 version of ISO/IEC 27001 and the associated standards ISO/IEC 27017:2021 for information security in the cloud and ISO/IEC 27018:2020 for the protection of personal data in the cloud.

The certification attests to Claranet's compliance with the highest standards in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. In technical and organisational terms, the technology service provider thus guarantees, among other things, the secure handling of customer data and the active implementation of suitable measures to prevent incidents in data handling.

During the comprehensive audit, which lasted several days, no major or minor deviations from the standards were identified. The certifier also praised the mature level of Claranet's integrated management system (IMS).

In addition, the surveillance audit was conducted in accordance with the international standard for business continuity management (ISO/IEC 22301:2019). This certification proves that Claranet fulfils all the requirements for a business continuity system. This ensures that business-critical resources are identified and effectively protected against emergencies. In addition, the surveillance audit for the implementation of the ISO/IEC 9001:2015 quality management standard was also completed.

"The successful recertification and reassessments are proof of our consistent commitment to the highest quality standards, information security and data protection. We will continue to proactively pursue the latest standards and best practices in information security and quality management for the benefit of our customers in the future."
