Automated monitoring
Continuous monitoring through SAP Solution Manager MAI (Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure): availability, work processes, file systems, CPU, database logs, backups, and performance. Alerts become tickets and are worked to agreed service levels. Productive systems are watched 24/7; non-productive systems 8/5.
Basis and performance checks
Manual analysis of key SAP transactions such as SM21 and ST22 using RFC-based, installation-free tools, with recommendations to fix what they find. Performance checks compare your systems against best practice, run daily and weekly on production.
Security baselines and notes
Security baseline checks at SAP, database, and operating-system level against the DSAG security guidelines, with prioritised remediation. We review SAP's monthly security notes for relevance to your estate and implement the ones that matter.
Patching: SAP, database, and OS
Support package stack and SAP kernel upgrades via the SAP Maintenance Planner, semi-annually. Database patching across SAP HANA, SAP ASE, Oracle, MaxDB, and MS SQL. Operating-system patching for Linux and Windows Server, monthly, to agreed windows.
Housekeeping and system copies
We control fast-growing Basis tables, clean up unused users, printers, and file systems, and schedule standard housekeeping jobs. A yearly system copy keeps your QAS environment a close, reliable match for production.
EarlyWatch review and reporting
We read and condense the weekly EarlyWatch Alert into clear recommendations, so the warnings inside it get acted on. Monthly service-level reporting shows your service-level metrics against actuals, so you always know where your estate stands.
