What is Migration as a Service?
Migration as a Service is Claranet's outcome-based approach to moving your workloads to the cloud. The service covers physical and virtual server migration to IaaS environments, SQL database migration to IaaS or PaaS, and NoSQL database migration to modern cloud platforms including Azure Cosmos DB.
Each migration begins with landing zone preparation — either building a new one or reviewing your existing environment. Claranet then deploys migration tooling, validates source systems, and executes the migration plan with full project management, a migration tracker and a detailed runbook.
The service is structured around clear roles and responsibilities, with Claranet owning the technical delivery and you providing access, information and sign-off at each stage. In-place OS upgrades for Windows Server are included where required, and database migrations include a full analysis report identifying violations and compatibility issues before any data is moved.
