Claranet Acquires Crashless
LONDON, 22nd October 2008: Crashless, a managed services provider which specialises in complex Microsoft-based services has joined the Claranet Group, one of Europe's leading managed services providers.
The Claranet Group will be strengthening its position as a managed services provider, adding to its 36,000 business customers and revenues in excess of 100 million Euros that span 7 countries, 14 offices and 16 datacentres.
Founded in 2003, Crashless, based in Lisbon, Portugal, has specialised in providing systems and network administration services, focusing on highly complex and critical environments. These have involved technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, clustering, virtualisation, security and data recovery.
Crashless provides services for well-known organisations such as Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (Lisbon University) and Ministério das Obras Públicas e Telecomunicações (Ministry of Telecommunications and Public Works), amongst others, which all rely on the quality of the services provided by Crashless for critical applications.

Crashless customers will benefit from a larger network and datacentre infrastructure and will, therefore, be able to outsource more critical services onto the managed services model provided by Claranet, which focuses on improving the ‘end-user to application' experience.
