Claranet's backup service allows our customers to safeguard the integrity of all data critical to their business, giving complete peace of mind that this risk is minimised. Daily incremental backups of specified data are taken with weekly full backups, which are stored for one month. The service will backup flat, open and open database files as required.

We know the true value of data backup is the ability to restore your data when needed. That is why we conduct on-going tests of our data restoration process giving you the confidence that your backup data is available at any moment. We know that one solution does not fit all and that’s why we offer both on-site and off-site storage options.

In order to ensure the integrity of your data, our engineering staff reviews audit reports from the backup system on a daily basis. In the event it is determined that a backup has not run successfully, we will act to resolve the issue immediately and run a manual backup. As a further safeguard, we schedule test restores with you to ensure that all customer data is available for recovery.
