About Claranet Group

Founded in 1996, Claranet has evolved organically from an ISP into a Managed Services Provider to meet the changing demands of our customers. Though Claranet still retains its core competency of connectivity, through acquisitions and development we have added Hosting and Managed Applications to our list of services. Claranet’s mission is to transform businesses by enabling our clients to make the most of contemporary technology.

Our technology experts develop, support and manage communication and information technology for business. We offer a compelling range of services on a managed and self-managed basis. Our connectivity, hosting, network services, security and storage solutions have been deployed in many successful organisations, from small offices to large pan-European networks. Our well-known clients include Hermes, Vivendi, St James's Place Group, Alstec and Bloomberg.

In 2006 the company had revenues of €106m and has been profitable since 1999. Our organic growth has been complemented by expansion of our European footprint via strategic acquisitions. The range and quality of our hosting products has been enhanced and greater emphasis is now placed on managed services which deliver more technology options, flexibility and scalability to our customers.
